The annual Sids and Kids Victoria Remembering Service will be held on

Friday 27th June at 10.30am

The Remembering Service is an opportunity to come together with other families from many different backgrounds and cultures to remember our children who have died, no matter what the cause. Some time is devoted during the service to pay tribute to the children in the form of song, music, poetry or in some other significant way. Please contact us if you are interested in participating in this way, or just join in on the day if you prefer. Morning tea is served in the hall behind the church shortly after the service.

MINGARY, THE QUIET PLACE

We encourage you to visit Mingary located on the Russell Street side of St Michael's Church for quiet reflection. Here rocks, water and light have been brought together in harmony. These elements are the ancient and contemporary symbols of life strength and spiritual elevation.

Please arrive early so that you may write your child’s name in the Remembrance Book so it may be read out, as the candles are lit in memory of our children. We encourage you to bring a photo and/or special memento of your child to be placed at the front of the gathering before the Service begins.
