Health Education information including SIDS and Kids Safe Sleeping for the Hunter Region is coordinated from the SIDS and Kids Drop-in-Centre.
Resources include research articles, pamphlets, videos and a bereavement library, for use by parents, health professionals, students and others in the community.
Staff undertake individual and group education on topics such as the grief following the death of a child and other related bereavement information for health professionals, students, emergency service personnel and parent groups.

SIDS and Kids Hunter Region is a registered charity and receives very limited government funding. The organisation relies totally on the community for support through fundraising activities and events such as Red Nose Day and our Charity Ball to enable the Association to pursue its objectives.
We invite you to make a donation to SIDS and Kids Hunter Region, which will enable the organisation to provide ongoing bereavement support to families, provide health promotion programs to the community and assist research into the cause of sudden infant death at a national level.
