Start Collecting Donations
Click here to set up your own fundraising page and then promote it to all your family and friends. When a donation is made through your fundraising page a tax deductible receipt will be emailed directly to the donor and the amount will be added to your tally. If people don’t have access to the internet they can still make a donation on the form provided in your Colour Me Red pack. Workplace Giving |
Workplace or payroll giving is a simple yet powerful way for you to assist SIDS and Kids ACT in delivering services to local families through dollars received via regular payroll donations. Once established, Workplace Giving provides both SIDS and Kids ACT and your workplace with a low cost and low maintenance way to support families.
You can make a difference quickly and easily by ‘Workplace Giving’ and it doesn’t have to cost a huge amount. The Australian Charities Fund estimates that if just 10 per cent of the workforce donated $5 each week, not-for-profit organisations would receive $260 million annually.
Workplace Giving allows you to donate money on a regular basis to a deductible gift recipient, such as SIDS and Kids ACT, directly through your pay. Once you start donating through your pay you will be entitled to an automatic tax deduction each week.
Entering into a Workplace Giving arrangement is easy. Simply ask your employer how you can contribute through their Workplace Giving program. Then nominate SIDS and Kids ACT as your charity and the frequency of your donations (for example, fortnightly, monthly, etc) and your donation amount. The donation is taken from your pay and paid directly by the employer to SIDS and Kids ACT.
If a small company of 20 staff donates just $2 per week in their pay to SIDS and Kids ACT, within a year there will be about $2000 to help local families. Multiply that by more staff, or a bigger donation, or more companies joining in…. and MORE families can be helped. It really is that easy to make a difference through Workplace Giving — so do it today!
