Go wild and silly on Red Nose Day to help save babies’ lives

SIDS and Kids is urging all Australians to go wild and silly in support of Red Nose Day on 28 June!

Supporters can get involved simply by purchasing any Red Nose Day product throughout June, and this year the traditional red nose has been joined by a ‘wild and silly’ range of jungle characters.

The cute and cuddly plush range includes a monkey, lion, leopard, and an elephant – all sporting their very own red noses.

Since 1988 SIDS and Kids has helped save thousands of babies’ lives through education and community awareness programs. $16 million has been devoted into researching stillbirth, neonatal death, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), and other causes that contribute to the 3,500 unexpected infant deaths that devastate Australian families each year.

SIDS and Kids provide crucial bereavement support to those affected by the death of a baby or child, and receives more than 10,000 calls for support and education every year.

This year, SIDS and Kids have also partnered with Aussie Wipes on the new Red Nose Baby Wipes range, with 5 per cent of all sales from the wipes going directly to the charity.

By purchasing a Red Nose Day product in June you will help fund:

• Bereavement support for Australian families

• Further research into areas such as stillbirth and Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy

• Community education to reduce the risk of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy

SIDS and Kids calls on all Australians to support Red Nose Day.
