ACCC Product Safety Recalls
All 4 Bubs Lunar Oval Cot has been recalled as it does not comply with the Australian mandatory safety standard, AS/NZS 2172:2003. The cot fails various design, construction, performance and labelling requirements, and poses numerous potential risks to infants and children including entrapment, choking and fall hazards. Consumers should discontinue using the product and contact All 4 Bubs for a full refund.
Mamas & Papas — Armadillo Flip and Armadillo Flip XT strollers – If the safety harness is not used or is incorrectly used, there is the potential for the infant to fall out of the stroller and be injured. No injuries have been recorded to date.
Mini Minds — Sensory Bottles (Calm Down, Confetti and Wave) – Some bottles may fail the drop test in the mandatory standard for toys for children under 36 months of age. If the bottles do break the contents of the bottle or pieces of the lid may present a choking hazard to a child.
Country Road — Indigo Elephant Crew Top – There is a risk that on some of the tops, one or more of the snaps may detach from the garment during normal use. If the snaps become detached from garment, this could pose a choking hazard to infants.
Bonds Outlets — Bonds Baby Items – Bodysuit, Stretchies, Signature, Zip Romper and Zip Wondersuit – The garments do not carry the required warning label information as required by the mandatory standard for Children’s nightwear and limited daywear having reduced fire hazard, AS/NZS 1249:2003.
Groupon Australia Pty Ltd — Animal Themed Baby Bath Robe with Hood – Failure to include the fire hazard information labels may result in consumers being unaware of the fire danger rating for these products.
